Hunger for a Good Book

It’s been a long time since I wrote!
Today’s post will be dedicated to yet another book everyone’s now talking about. The cinemas are playing the movie based on the second part of the book, and the Thor’s brother stars in it. It’s obviously The Hunger Games. I just can’t help myself if the book gets so famous and it’s on the lips of everyone, I simply must read it to have an opinion about. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a good read.
Written by the American author Suzanne Collins, the Hunger Games is a science fiction novel that tells the story of a 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen who voluntarily takes place of her younger sister in a televised fight to the death, in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete.
I was one of those lucky ones who read the book before seeing the movie. The first book was a pleasure to read, it was not very demanding but the action, characters and the plot twists truly got my attention. I loved the second book, which was much more interesting, with all the plot twists and cliffhangers. I have already seen a movie and it met my expectations – much better than the previous part when it comes to plot, acting, sceneries and characters. For all those book collectors out there: you must go get the book and read it right now! My good advice, read it before seeing the movie.
With Christmas coming soon, you can always think of getting books as Christmas gifts! When you buy more than one book for your friends and family, I strongly recommend using Foyles voucher codes – you can really save on your book purchases. If you have a sister or friend , get them the Hunger Games! Later on they will thank you for that!
